Four Things
If someone sent me these sorts of things in an email I might think about blacklisting that person in my address book, but here on Vox it way more fun.
I think I was tagged, I am a guy who hasn't shaved in months. Either way, here we go.
Four jobs I have had
in my life:
This is kinda hard as I've only really ever had 3 jobs in my life. I did lots
of other jobs in those jobs that didn't have anything to do with my actual job
but that is a very long list.
That "other duties as assigned" line is a bitch.
- Teachers Assistant at my high school (post graduation)
- Operations Manager for the Imaging/Scanning department of “the largest full service attorney service in the west.”
- Project Manager for the document archival/retrieval arm of a home owner manual company.
- The next job I want is running my own business. Hopefully a Boba (bubble) Tea stand/restaurant.
Four movies I would watch over and over:
- Forrest Gump
- Style Wars
- Milo & Otis
- The Matrix
Four places I have never gone, but want
to:
This is difficult, I’m not much of a
traveler and don’t really have the desire to do so. I’ve received a ton of flak
for it too.
- The Mediterranean (no counties in particular, just the whole region. So much history to see.)
- I’m a little curious about Japan
- Germany
- Scandinavia
Four songs on the CD player right now (iPod, just hit suffle):
- R. Kelly - Happy People
- Otis Redding - I’ve Been Loving You too Long
- Sufjan Stevens - Alanson, Crooked River
- The Strokes - Under Control
Four TV shows I love/like (now airing):
- Heroes
- Veronica Mars
- The Office
- Jimmy Kimmel Live (more genuine laughs per show than a weeks worth of Leno/Letterman, IMHO.)
Four TV shows I love/like (no longer
airing):
- Arrested Development
- Dead Like Me
- Now & Again (not to be confused with Once & Again)
- Dharma & Greg
Four places I've been on vacation:
- Kailua-Kona, HI
- Austin,TX
- Seattle, WA
- San Luis Obispo, CA*
*Although I recently visited San Fransisco
I
don’t count it as a vacation because it didn’t feel like one and SLO often
where I end up spending my vacation days anyway.
Four of my favorite foods are:
- BBQ Pork (like you find at the Asian spots)
- Eggs
- Jack In The Box Ultimate Cheeseburger on sourdough bread
- My mothers skirt steak
Four places I would rather be right now:
- Haus der Platten (AKA home)
- Driving anywhere (I do enjoy driving despite my dislike of travel)
- Austin, TX
- San Luis Obispo, CA
Continuing the trend of somewhat nebulous tagging I'm not going to name anyone specifically but instead see if I can will people to do it.
Comments
Dude -- of course it was you -- I pay attention!! ;)
I've become a total Boba-phile over the last 18 months. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I really like em. I'd be a frequent customer.
It's on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, just off the 163. It's kitty-corner from Cheetah's on the right next door to PC Club.
I practically lived there for a year; dinner every night, most of the day Saturday or Sunday spent watching TV on their couch or using their free WiFi. I got to know the owners and their families; chances are if you say my name to the person behind the counter they will know who you are talking about.
It was like my Cheers.
I ♥ Fusion!
