QotD: Please Make Another!
Sure, most sequels stink, but what movie really needs a sequel?
Once upon a time my sister and I dreamed up a sequel to Gleaming the Cube
We called it Gleaming the Cube ² (that's Gleaming the Cube Squared).
We had a story too:
Now middle aged, Brian (Christian Slater), has become a detective on the local police force and when his son, who is half Vietnamese, gets mixed up in a gang he has to think outside of the box (in this case the cube) to save him.
Skateboarding ensues, and in the end the day is saved.
We fleshed it out a bit more than that but I've already said too much; I don't want Hollywood stealing our ideas.
We also discussed ideas for a Hong-Kong action style Ghostbusters 3.
